The Taylor NS24e is Taylor's first non-cutaway nylon-string grand auditorium guitar, honoring the aesthetic of the more traditional classical guitar body. The Taylor NS24e is equipped with a rosewood laminate body, Sitka spruce top, and an ebony fingerboard and bridge. The guitar also includes modern amenities like a sleek, fast 1-7/8" neck, a cypress rosette, chrome-plated tuners, and an ES-T under-saddle pickup.

Unlike lacquer finishes, Taylor's UV finish is resistant to cold-checking and is much more environmentally friendly. It's also clearer than lacquer and doesn't turn yellow—so wood grain and natural colorations are more distinct. The Taylor UV finish contains as many solids as thicker finishes, so a thinner application provides the same protection while still allowing the tonewood to breath. Plus, it ages the same way that we like a good lacquer finish to age, allowing the Taylor NX23e Acoustic-Electric Guitar to open up as it's played over the years.
