The warm tone and open midrange of the guitar's sapele back and sides balances the bright and snappy characteristics of a solid Sitka spruce top. Rupert Neve-designed Expression System electronics with Dynamic Sensors and tone controls capture top and string vibration like never before. The finish used to create the 312-CE acoustic-electric's textured satin back and sides and lustrous gloss top was developed at Taylor for maximum durability and resistance to cold-checking. The ultraviolet-cured finish is also more environmentally friendly than traditional lacquer finishes.
