Knilling KN1083 Sherman's Bass Rosin

Stringed instruments played with a bow sometimes require an application of rosin. Bows are made of horse hairs, and these hairs have tiny bits on them resembling hooks that help produce sound. Without rosin, the bow would simply glide over the string without creating much vibration. Rosin is made of various types of waxes, and is applied to a bow along the side that is dragged along the strings. All bows must be rosined, regardless of the instrument.
